Took yesterday off to more or less lick my wounds and analyze the action through the first three weeks. Not much pretty to gander over as the bankroll has bled off more than 12% to start the season. Hopefully the numbers I came up with on Monday will prove fruitful over the next few weeks or so.
Solid pitching generally makes for solid winning, but so far things have been topsy turvy. Streaks are now prevalent in both leagues by more than one team and I will try to make hay with the current situations as they exist. I would love to regain some confidence with a solid day of action on Tuesday.
For the Tuesday free selection, I am going to back the solid pitching of Hernandez for the Twins and they take on the Athletics. Fernandez has done his job everytime he has taken the hill this season, and getting the sweet price of +140 is simply too nice to let slide by. Free play is currently on a four game winning streak.
