Bankroll lost $145 on Sunday after the plays went 5-6. BEST BETS went a miserable 0-3 after a 3-0 effort on Saturday. Day was kept from being worse due to large dog hit on the Twins at +172. Winning plays from Sunday were Florida G1, Washington, Philadelphia -1.5, Minnesota, and the White Sox. Sunday's losers included Atlanta, the Mets, Cleveland -1.5, NYY -1.5, Baltimore, and Boston.
Memorial Day has most people in the US not working and enjoying what is hopefully nice weather in wherever your neck of the woods lie. For us hardcore gambling junkies there are plenty of MLB games taking place this afternoon to wet the appetite.

Dodgers come in with an 11-12 record in road games while the Cubs are happy to be returning home from Pittsburgh, after dropping two of three, where they hold a record of 19-8.
LA has won 2 of the 4 Billingsley starts on the road which holds with their team road record. The Cubs sport a perfect 6-0 record with Dempster starting at home and all of the contests have been decisive. No Dempster home start has been won by less than 3 runs.
The numbers are solid enough for a top play on the moneyline....was considering a runline play here but decided to lay the small wood and take the Cubs simply to do what they have done 19 of 27 times thus far in 2008, and that is win at home.
