Certainly encouraged by following the great results of Wednesday with another solid effort with the Thursday slate of plays. Thursday's selections went 5-2 and the bankroll gained a total of $350 counting a modest 3-team parlay hit with the AL plays. Winning plays for Thursday were Arizona, Washington, Boston, Tampa Bay, and the White Sox. The losing pair of plays were the Padres (who literally gave the game away with some awful fielding), and the Cardinals.

Still down over $1500 for the season, but up nearly $1400 from the bankroll's low point of $7087. Starting to feel much better about the flow of things after I felt compelled to take a week off to fight the tremendous streak of losing I had been on. If this weekend goes well I most certainly will have a nice warm glow in my belly heading into next week....and it won't be from the barbeque I ate last night.

Almost feel like I am at a pivotal point of the season heading into Friday's action, and it will be seen if all of the studying and number crunching I regularly perform will garner any profits or whether the past two nights have simply been a mirage in a desert of losses.

Diamondbacks roll on Thursday to an 8-3 win behind a solid start from Brandon Webb who has been sizzling to start this campaign. For Friday, I am going to back the sizzling hot Atlanta Braves as they open up their series with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Glavine is decent, but the key is the Braves bats continue to get the job done.....Chipper is hitting like a man possessed to start the year. Pirates send a decent hurler in Snell to the mound, but he will likely give Atlanta too many runs for the Pirates to have a chance in this one. The price on this one is certainly sweet....

Atlanta Glavine +102(WSEX)
100 to win 102

The very BEST OF LUCK to everyone with all of their Friday action
