Overrated really. Its nice to walk through but you will overpay for everything. The casino does not have a great vibe and the Sportsbook is not fabulous. Very meh. Price of beers in the sportsbook at RW are very high. For example, a Mangocart beer for my girl was $15 while watching the game, if you went off strip to Rampart, its $2 for the same beer during gameday. Restaurants are similarly overpriced for very average food. My suggestion is to join Mlife and grab an MGM room or stay at Circa downtown. If budget is an issue and you prefer not to rent a car, the Westgate is reasonable as well and has one of the two best Sportsbooks in town. I always recommend renting a car, especialy if unrated by a casino (thus no offers). You get better food offerings off the strip and priced better.

Reno is being nice, the place has ZERO vibe and a lame casino. Its more a conventioneer hotel which is easy on the eyes but falls short on the substance. I second his advice on renting a car. Consider Red Rock in Summerlin, Green Valley Ranch in Henderson (with walkable shopping area right outside the hotel) or even the M Resort down by the 7 sisters art display in South Vegas. Better vibes.
