Gents the soccer kicks off early for you folks who hang out in the bars until 3 or 4 in the morning. Italian Series A kicks off at 9:00 EST, and the Spanish La Liga 1100 EST. There also are some Cup games sprinkled on the card from England, but their tough bets to cap.

Messina at Empoli (17 at 13) Italian Serie A
(1-5-3 road vs 4-3-1 home)

Empoli likes playing at home (who doesn't?) and their 3 losses were to Juventus, AC Milan, and Lazio. Those 3 teams are solid squads at the top of the table. Empoli will be complete for this game with no injuries. Messina is missing a couple of players to injury and when you score .66 goals a game on the road and concede 1.44, that means you lose most of the time.

Selection: Empoli -1/2 +105 2*

Udinese at Cagliari (10 at 19) Italian Serie A
(2-1-5 road at 3-4-1 home)

Two teams struggling to figure out what's going on, Cag is in the full relegation zone with 4 coaching changes this year along and Udinese out of the Champions League and the La Liga form has been bad. This is going to be a close match throughout with both teams muscular and wanting to push each other around. I see this game close. This will be a single unit play because my numbers are close.

Selection: Draw +210 1*

Got a couple more I might post in the morning if these turn out o.k.

Overall: +70 units on the season

Sorry I've got La Liga on the brain

Udinese form should of been their Series A form. I'm looking at two La Liga games right now in Sevilla at home, and the Osasuna clash as well. Osasuna is one of my favorite teams right now in the La Liga. Serious over achievers, but their getting it done.
