Ugh sorry to hear that bro, I got my ass kicked a little as well, way too many half point and 1 point losses in this tourney than I care to remember! I threw up a Hail Mary with this shit which helped out. This tourney has been so damn hard to figure out. TCU didn’t have any business pulling that shot at the last .7 just unreal

The last two weeks have been utterly catastrophic. I've lost more in 14 days then I did all of football season.

Yesterday's plays: Pitt - a loser from the opening tip. I also played Kansas State, but after watching Pitt go up in flames I bought off the play. Naturally, Kansas State won outright. Then I played Central Florida; we all know what happened there. I closed the day playing Indiana and TCU. As Indiana fell behind double digits in the second half I shut off the TV in disgust and went to bed.

When I got up today, I was relieved to see that TCU had covered. Finally, a winner! I didn't know how that had happened until I saw your post, then I searched online and saw that last shot.

Only dumb ass luck and DD's plays are keeping me going right now.

Lost every game, went from being up 6000 to down 1500. Unreal. Looked like I might get out even with Gonzaga until that last sec bomb. Want to cry.
I have been cold myself. Trusting there are better days ahead. Limit yourself based on what you can reasonably stomach losing. If you make $50k per year maybe it’s $100 or $200 per game. If you make $500k maybe it’s $1000. Have some semblance of the value of money so that when you do get skunked it’s not the end of the world.

Or, as Michael Jordan reportedly said when asked what stakes he wanted to play for during a golf round, "Whatever makes you nervous."

Then again, I doubt that MJ has sweated a bet anytime recently.

You are so right stoney
It’s a totally different rush

I recall being in a tough spot financially in Super Bowl 34
Had Rams -6

The final drive by Titans with Eddie George dying at the 1 yard line was a rush I will never want to experience ever again. Fuck sakes, that game made me see Jesus several times especially at the end.

I play a lot of games but bet 100.00 a game is what I can afford without touching my life line. I found out a long time ago that there is no such thing as GOY. I never double (unless I’m winning and DD or Reno has a play that I agree with). Hang in there, have fun gambling and good luck.

Agreed EVERY game
Should be played same amount
In the long run
You won’t get hurt
It’s a grind
It has to be enjoyable and entertaining
No one is getting rich

Vegas is the only one consistently getting rich since the 50’s
Now that’s a good run and it says it all
