looks like their won't be an even money favorite afterall.
after 'the factor' and 'uncle mo' lost. all of the so called tv experts are all of a sudden dropping off of them.
we shall see..........

just some quick derby notes.............

#1 post-
no horses has finished in the money since 1988 out of the #1 post.

#3 twice the appeal-
calvin borel has won 3 out of the last 4 kentucky derby's.

#19 nehro-
no horse has ever won out of the #19 post in the derby.

#7 pants on fire / #13 mucho macho man
no female jockey or trainer has ever won the kentucky derby.

#16 animal kingdom
robby albarado got injured yesterday, his status is day to day.

no horse has won the derby since 1882 that didn't run as a 2 year old.
#15 midinight interlude fit this one.

uncle mo is 50/50 on running this derby although the outside post should certainly help his cause.

#8 dialed in
trainer nick zito-
hasn't won a derby since 1988, saddles ml line favorite.
