If you look at Pinnacle and other sites...under the "Cups" link there are tons of soccer matches throughout Scotland, England, France, etc. these are domestic "Cup" matches which enable the "lower" league teams in England etc. to compete with the powers of England like Chelsea...hence the lines laying 2 1/2, 3 goals, etc. in matches.
Lots of the frontline teams such as Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool, etc. normally will try to advance by sending out a weaker squad. These competitions always have upsets and close games when you least expect it. Last year Liverpool was knocked out by Burnley which was a monumental upset. Unless there is a real logical place to win some cash I normally stay away from these games until the quarterfinals, etc.
I mean...Manchester City against Scunthorpe U...riveting..lol
