4-1 IN PRO BASEBALL; 5-2 OVERALL; 3 NBA +3 MLB INC WISE GUY BASEBALL

True we had been in a rare holding pattern with our MLB picks. As clients going back to our scorephone Cadillac Club days know, with mastery of dogs and small favorites, nobody approaches our units won. As expected, we are back with a vengeance going 5-2 overall including 4-1 in MLB.

Go 6-0 Monday with both NBA sides, an NBA total and three MLB sides. You get all of today’s picks from the No. 1 sports handicapper for just $17 at OffshoreInsiders.com.

MLB
CUBS (DEMPSTER +102) Cincinnati (Cueto)

Oh if we only had a nickel for every time it’s happened. Actually in fact we have. Johnny Cueto was a highly touted young stud. After coming out of the gates with a few strong outings, a bunch of saps were ready to make his bust in Cooperstown .

Not so fast. Here’s the part we’ve seen many times before: reality hits, but we make a fortune fading the media and oddsmakers. Cueto has been ripped for 12 runs, 11 earned in his last 8 2/3 IP giving up 19 baserunners.

All underrated veteran Ryan Dempster has done is go 4-0 personally with a 5-1 team record. His WHIP is 1.108 with a 3.16 ERA. On the road it’s an even more impressive 1.29 ERA and .714 WHIP.

Cincinnati has lost to Dempster six of the previous seven times they faced him. Dempster has a +6.8 units won in those seven starts. The Reds have lost five straight.

Chicago has won 4-of-5 in the Queen City .
